question about murderer status

some random person came by and killed my wolf while i wasnt watching
neither of us was acting a job and when he killed my pet, he got murderer status
i was just wondering what would happed if i killed him
would i become murderer as well??

No, if the other person has murder status, you can kill him and earn exp and sp points.. And maybe when you are lucky, that person drops an item when he dies..

if he did kill your pet, then yes you can kill him and you won't get murder. just hope he drops 50k or a pet res

If a person is red then the chance of them dropping an equipped item is very high. They can drop anything but their weapon.
If they are pink they can be killed without penalty but the chance of dropping something is not increased. Pink means they attacked someone but didn't kill them.

If someone murdered you or your wolf outside of cape Player versus Player/Job war and their name turns red then you can kill them. If you see someone with a red name without a cape or job suit, then you can kill them. If you see someone with a pink name you can kill them, but its unrecommended because their name might turn white any second .
When in Murder status with each increase in murder level the chance of said murderer dropping equipped items or items in their inventory is increased. Silk bought items cannot be dropped, Equipped weapons, and only Equipped weapons cannot be dropped.
There is a small chance of losing items when dieing, period. Same rules of what drops and what doesn't applies.

thx for the replies
i tracked the person down (zooom) and killed him but he didnt drop anything
then i put fire trap on his dead body and resurected him
the he died again and dropped a lvl 12 som fabric mitten so i guess that should make up for killing my pet XD
