drop rate?

does the drop rate change if you are higher level than a monster?
Im trying to get elements...

Well maybe its weird but it does (for me)

i went training mobs 5 lvls lower than me (for the gold/items) and i get items way faster than normally ^^

i can easely get 1k elements of each every day. but my inv. will get to full

if u are on mars u can follow me in party u will get thousands of element pieces :love:

monsters lvls 4-6 lower than you give you more item drops
of all kinds.
including gear, weaps
for example I was lvl 32 fighting the bomb guys outside of DW
i got a 5D SOS Spear +3 INT after a couple hours, but i also
admit that is EXTREME luck

RED MOBS: decreased drop rate 5lvls above +
Orange mobs: decreased drop rate 1 lvl - 5lvls above
White mobs: Base Lvl
Green mobs: increased drop rate 5 lvls below
Blue mobs: decreased drop rate 6 lvls below +

Is it effective on quest drops too?
Because I'm level 24, and when i made that quest that i have to get 50 demon horse's hooves, they was dropped very rarely, about 5 in 1.5 hours, OMG.

Yes it is effective on drops in a sort of the exact same way.

im doing the curst heart quest now for a long time. and i got power lvled today at lvl 38 monsters (i am lvl 32) i didnt even get ONE!

but when i go grinding for items on lvl 24 monsters (6 lvl below) i get 10 in 1 hour ^^

10 in one hour.. thats it? LOL jk. But yeah i notice when i plvl people (I'm 44) and i do it at scorps, which is like 13 levels below me, i get more drops than say, bunwhangs (my level)

i dunno, but what i know is that joymax change the rate of drops...
for example: a few weeks ago i got ALOT of elixirs, 10-20 each time i came back from grinding...
but now i get only 2-3 each time

(and no its not only me, the whole server... wep elixirs were like 100-150k then, now they back to 200k)

when i was lv 42 (i am wiz) i was grinding at sungs i get 5-10 item per 1 hour
