How do you PVP without Murder status?

If you become a hunter or theif do you still get murder status when you kill a trader, hunter or theif ect....??

I killed a botter and became murder status then a bunch of people came and raped me..LOL

Is it possible to make a botter get murder status??
Say you hit a botter 1 time then he auto attacks you, you dont pot so you die, will it work?

How do you do this?????
I tried ALT then click on someone while im on a red hoirse but it doesnt work.

u attack the bots first (but dont kill them). then u run away with a shield so they cant kill u fast. u run till ur name (which should be purple) turns to green or white. then u summon a newb horse. the botter will keep trying to attack u, so he will atttack the horse and get murderer status, so u will be able to kill him. even if he comes back to his grinding spot, he will still be murderer, so u will be able to kill him again.

but i dont know if this trick works after the big update....

ill try it when i remember to..... but during the time when he gets murder status, can he still attack me?

i guess so, thats why u have to kill him fast. u will also have to be a higher lvl so he cant 1 hit u (even though u will loose very less exp and his murderer status will get worser ).

wat u do is get friends taht can resurrect u.
then u put everythn u hav in storage and kill bots.
hav friends kill u and revive u.

When you wear a pvp cape, job suit/identity card/trader's mark, or during a guild war or fortress war, you can kill an opponent without getting murderer status. You only get murderer status if you were not in any of the situations I mentioned.

Note: if you are able to kill someone without murder penalty, you hover your mouse over the target player, it should change to a sword and allow you to attack him/her, plus their name would be in red. If you had to press alt to attack, most often you would get murderer penalty. The only exception to this is if you are wearing a monster mask or you are a rogue using duplication skill.

im a no exp. theif n i did as u said abt kill other ppl with me as a theif.I killed another theif with loot.God dam*ed i got murder status b4 i c it is wrong to kill him.god pk lvl 2 now. some low lvl spear nuker tried to attack me n die in 1 crit of mine >.<'''

Yes, as a thief, you can only kill traders and hunters without getting murderer. In any job, you can only kill the opposing job without penalty.

isnt it that once a theif gets 3k pts by killing trader/hunter that they get a penalty or have they removed that

I forgot about that, since I haven't really been thieving in a while. I'm certain it's still there. I just meant in a job, you won't go murderer by killing an opposing job, but you will go murderer killing your own job.

The penalty after 3k 'arrange points' isn't murderer status though. It basically marks you as 'wanted' to hunters, even if you are not wearing your thief suit, and they can kill you on sight and earn some bonus or something... and then you can't job for a while or have to pay gold to some NPC. Never happened to me.
