Help, how chinese nukes work?

:banghead: I've done so much characters and i've finally found out that i want a chinese nuker.

Then, i have a question, because i want to be a cold/lightning/fire nuker...

When you level up weapon maestries, they give u a extra % dmg. This damage affects the pure magical nuke (for example: Lion shout, wolf thunderbolt )?

Or another way of answer the same: that percent affect the weapon when u use it for attack (physical combat ) or when u "wear" it (all kind of attack skills) ?

your physical dmg does not effect how hard your nukes hit. nukes are only effected by your INT/STR ratio. Nukes are pure mag DMG so only Mag% boost Mag dmg ;)

When you level up a weapon mastery, it increases damage for that weapon. Heuksal mastery increases damage for spear/glavie etc. Fire, ice and lightening masteries work the same way, but increase damage for that element instead. So increasing lightening mastery will increase the damage you do with lightening attacks -- nuke, lion shout, imbue.

Only when you use the attack. Weapon masteries increase the damage for that particular weapon's physical attacks. Force masteries increase the damage for that particular element's magical attacks.

I hope that made it clear. :)

Barotix, i didnt understand what you said... but, thanks

Rienne, you made it clear ^^, thanks a lot... also, i want more people to reply and confirm it.

And, another question is...
 May pure str glaivers be more powerful than a s/s nuker cuz they would have 2 extra % (weapon and imbue maestry)?

thanks!

erm, if you want to compare the damage, s/s nuker will still done more damage than a pure str glavier. (If they're using equal weapon)

i dont reccomed ice/fire/light because you are going to need a weapon skill.

I have a ice/light nuker s/s pure int. Lvl 18 atm. Some tips are to try to get your hands on some Sos weps and armor as soon as possible because you have very little hp.(If you got pure int). The upside to that is i can train on monsters 5-7 lvls higher than me instead of like a glaivers or bows 2-3. Also reccomend you have your auto potting For hp at 60% because its so low after 60% you will probably have 100 hp left and can get one hitted.
