i hav always had this question in my head...

y do full str or full int...? y not just make da 2 balance...?

The only hybrids that are worthy are int-hybrids, str-hybrids are useless imho ... you'll only get more mp + a lil more dmg when using imbue BUT in the end of they day it's up to you, don't let anyone say differently

Most people go pure because they either want huge life or huge damage. The only hybrid that really works is a slight int hybrid (7:1), (5:1).

Like he said, your personal opinion.

Here is my opinion

One reason why people don't like hybrids is............ The weapon is very important, your int and str is part of the damage calculation so you might want max str to use a glavie most efficiently. If you add int then your damage will go up, but not as fast as your hp will drop.

Hybrids are very good now because they added snow shield a few months ago. It never existed before. Snow shield allows a hybrid to tank like a pure str for 2 min. (1 min recharge time). So a 1:1 hybrid spear/glavie will do more damage then a pure str glavie. For 2 min he can tank like a pure str using 35% snow shield. For 1min the hybrid will have a lot less health then the pure str.

Snow shield transfers damage into mp, 1:1 can only use 35%snow because they don't have enough mp to use a higher lvl.

depends on whether you like to die or not

pure int die a lot but have very high dmgs and completely own lower levels.

pure str own all levels almost because great hp. they have somewhat ok dmgs but not as much as pure int. obviously.

i am a hybrid Int myself. Hate Pure Int because too little hp. i hate dieing all the time. makes me feel weak. With a Pure Str, sure you get tons of hp, but do less damage and take longer to lv up.

(my Hybrid Int is in the making look at my sig, gota farm a little more )

If a pure int with good int stats on gear runs out of mp then they would have been dead already without the snow shield. Also thats what vigors are for.

@ Topic... I don't know anymore... I used to believe that bladers were the best tankers... but nowadays seems like pure int can also tank with snow shield + 15 seconds of ironwall... It sux =[ Makes wanna go back in time and make my char INT. For me it's too late... I did 450k of sp and I'm already Lv67.. so I guess I will continue with my blader.

yeh, it take off all my MP lol... but again I use it only when some higher Lv try to bother me. I will not use it on a duel with someone of my Lv

Erm, I am pure INT nuker, never get my mp to 0 with snowshield ON!

Ofcourse, I am using extra large mp potions.

Hyb int rock with a good balance. If u mess up in blance, ur done.

Hyb int spear is also a good build.
