Upgrade

k guys heres my question
if you pick up a wep and it already has a +__
and you use it for upgrades is there a chance that the original number(white) will go away if the upgrade fails will it still remain?

eh?
if you pick up a +2 white item and you try n +3 it, it will go to +0 white item if it fails.

i thought if you upgraded a white +4 and tried for a +5 and failed it would go back to +4 T.T

from +4 and onwards you can put astral on it.
with astral, it wont go lower than +4
mind you, this wont work when the item is BELOW +4.
when u put astral on (which you can only buy from item mall) you should put
immortal on it as well to keep it from breaking. some say items can break from
+3 to +4, but most say that its very rare and that most break from +4 to +5.
