What exactly is Absolute damage?

hmmm..i always thought it was the amount of dmg u do no matter what
like if the absolute dmg is 500 then you'll always do 500 to it...
just my thought xD

If the level of the spell is the same as the level of the target, the target will always take damage equal to the value listed on the spell book. If the target's level is higher than the level of the spell, the target will always take a specific amount of damage less than the stated amount at every certain level.
ie.
your lv40 overhealing spell does 1k absolute damage. It would do 1k damage to everyone lv40 and lower. It would do 990 to a lv41, 980 to a lv42, etc (formula and all values are made up for this example).

the absoluteness damage disregards the defence of any monster, but I'm not sure if it includes the monster lvl.
I'd say it disregards the lvl too
