So basically Im a pvp fiend....I have a passion for it no matter what rpg i play...and i play alot..so coming into the game I decided to do some simple observe pvp on diffrent servers...figureing that by doing this i would see the character/weapon type that I myself would like to be...
Sadly tho that is not the case what ive come to find is that i have difficulty choseing...

At first i thought s/s hybrid was going to be my thing...but after seeing a level 80 bow char pvping i was actually quite intrigued....he did good damage and killed alot of people(his own level...I know so cuz they had the same armor sets)Anyway advice? Ive come to decide I dont want a blader...too low of damge and there all about surviablity..not doing damage...
I checked into glavie but didnt like that...again too low of damage..

then i looked at spear...s/s and bow
spear and s/s look good but I cant decide if i should go pure int or hybrid...as i read around im seeing that hybrid is talked about alot but i still cant decide....
Bow..Good damge and still some good surviablity even tho they have no weapon defence...

So Im here for advice....Thanks in advance

Oh and while im here anyone got a guild i could join? I havent picked a server yet so any guild that is willing to take me in would most likely be the one i join...

Spear is usually hybrid. They have pretty good damage and with snow shield on can tank too.

Sword shield is usually pure int or really really really heavy hybrid int. They also do pretty high damage and with snow shield can also tank. They have the luxury of KD which usually saves them from taking hit after hit.

For bow you can be either pure str, hybrid strength, or hybrid int. For hybrid str you'll want a phys balance of anywhere from 85 to 90 percent. For hybrid int most people go about 1:2 or 70:70. The only difference between full str and hybrid str bow is that hybrid sacrifices hp for more damage but both rely mostly on crits. Hybrid int bow deals a higher and more consistent normal damage but deals less consistent crits and have less health and defense. But they can also use snow shield.

In the end, your choice is going to be based on which skills you like better and your playing style since all the builds have the potential to do well in pvp as long as you have good gear.

For now im going to do some more pvp observation....

I buy my silk tommrow so i kinda wanna know by then so i can get started on leveling =D

And now i dont even know which type of bow i would like to be...
is there one type that does better then others?

If you want heavy damage, why don't you go for pure int spear? Though some of them saying that pure int spear can die easily, but as long as you get a set of good gear, you'll be able to survive in pvp.

awesome guide, i use this myself right now. Hybrid Int S/S is the way to go. Do great damage and still have tons of hp left over. I give all props to this guy. Thanks alot for this guide Vindicator

a buddy of mine is also doing the same build with me. Both of us are Hybrid s/s and are almost done farming 30k. This will last us to lv 42, then we farm some more
