hi i got a question about sosun or sos/som
lets say two lvl 80 players with npc gear fight against eachother. they are both glaviers (or any other class but both are the same) and the fight is very balanced.
then player 1 gets a sosun weapon and they fight again.. of course player 1's damage increased by alot and he wins easily. now i wonder how many sosun protectors would player 2 need to make this fight balanced again?
keep in mind that player 1 is still using npc protectors and only his weapon is sosun, while player 2 will keep his npc weapon. i wonder if his whole equip (except of weapon) would have to be sosun to make player 1 hit him for as much as he did with a npc weapon. or maybe just some parts?

I'd say it were a bit balanced if the protector was a chest piece, cos they have the most defence next to the shield.

even full sun protector set can be died with sosun glavie, 2 crit is enough to kill him.

this is a PvP between someone full sun set protector 6 pieces vs some one with 4 pieces sun garments and anyone can die...

i agree. the weap is most important.

Good question unfortunately no one seems to know the answer. I think it would be an easier question if it wasn't an str character. What I mean is the crit on the weapon would throw it off an npc glavie is crit 2 it think. and a sosun glavie drop is going to be crit 10+.

Because of the crit I would think the sosun glavie will always win.
Crit adds to much "luck" into the equation.

you might wanna refrase the question to SOSUN shield and raised block ratio.

well but i doubt that a sosun shield alone would make up for a sosun weapon.. if so then a full sosun set would make you immortal

well the sun shield has an already higher base br, so at 100% br on a sun shield is something like 26!

though I would vote for a sun glaive crit to win 90% of the time.

I chose glave 2, cos full attack + full crit is FULL AGGRO

well sun glavie vs sun set
well be the same i think reaon is mostly the guy with sun set high dodging ratio & blues (str,hp+....)
so if u say a sun glavie +7 full blues crit 14 vs full sun set +7 full blues

I think it would be equal or hard for sun glavie to win
as set would give him more hp,str,int even in stuns & crit it is hard

if I had a choice I know I would pick the sun gear over the weapon, that weapon would just BEG people to hit me.

And does the sun gear have a weapon, and is the sun glaive naked? lol
