[TUT]pwrlvling in the new sro

just a quick tut i did after answering questions in Q&A:
red = heading
blue = info
green = credits/ thx :D
*******************************************
Table of contexts:
*******************************************
1]mastery
2]sp
3]exp
4]penalty
5]what is pwrlvling/farming
6]future plan

******************************************
DEFINITIONS:
******************************************
1]sp = skill points
2] pwr = power
3] exp = experiance
4] lvl = level
5] gap = distance between your lvl and main mastery

******************************************
MASTERY
******************************************
your mastery lvl is the most important object in the concept of pwrlvling not your lvl. NOT YOUR LVL, your main mastery lvl is what determins how much sp/exp you get
******************************************
SP
******************************************
your sp is the skill points you gain while lvling or farming.
400 sp exp = 1 sp, you get the most sp on a 9 gap against mobs 11 lvls higher than your main MASTERY, with an sp tick and premium
for example:
lvl 16 with 9 gap should farm on what?
well heres the formula

current lvl - gap = main mastery
main mastery + 11 = lvl of mob you should be fighting

******************************************
EXP
******************************************
exp is what you get w/e you kill a mob, you get the most exp with a 0 gap fighting mobs 11 highers than your main MASTERY which in this case would be your lvl.
******************************************
PENALTY
******************************************
there is a penalty when fighting mobs 11 lvls higher than your actual lvl or 20 lvls below [you get an exp/sp penalty] for example

a lvl 16 with 9 gap is getting farmed at the generals [takla] and getting 2 exp [NOT 2 %] he/she/it is getting 2 exp because of that penalty

*******************************************
WHAT IS PWRLVLING/FARMING
*******************************************
pwrlvling/pwrfarming is a way of gaining massive amounts of exp/sp with little or no effort. joymax has implemented the pwrlvling/pwrfarming concept in all sros to increase the speed at which people lvl

******************************************
EXTRA
******************************************
grinding is fighting mobs on a lower lvl or on your lvl in order to gain exp, while still maintaining a decent item/gold drop rate
lvling is the fighting of mobs 1 - 11 lvls higher than you in order to gain exp only

this concept is better explained in this EPG

******************************************
CREDITS
******************************************
THANK YOU SUI FOR UNBANNING ME
THANK YOU CIN FOR VOUCHING
THATS THE CREDITS LOL XD

So basically you just posted a bunch of words we already know and stuff that has been posted tons of times in farming guides

you hit the nail on the bucket, but not every1 knows about the whole penalty applying to your main mastery lvl, and not your actual lvl.

you wouldnt believe how many times i have 2 answer questions like that in Q&A, so i made a tut [a short sweet reinforcement of what some people may have forgotten]
this way when i have to answer a question such as

im lvl 18 with 9 gap, should i farm at ongs?
i can just give them this link
so its not pointless

im gonna be adding links to comprehensive guides though like i did in the 2nd to last section

Then make more small guides and stick them all together in one single thread, now that'd be useful

w/e if you say so, i dont have 2 really prove much 2 you. its a tut on the exp/sp penalty that people think applys to your lvl. it applies to your main mastery. you can argue all day and night idc, i made this tut to make answering questions in Q&A easier [they ask pretty basic questions] for myself; so, wether you find it useful or not isnt really that important idc, but you seem 2 care.

Not true, i have been powerlvling my newbie character on ongs since lvl10, it has lvl9 masteries and its now lvl22, the EXP/SP it recieves has been going up ever since. It's supposed to be lvl+11, not mastery+11

correlation does not prove causation. its mastery not lvl

I havent seen any proof of that being true though

It is mastery...
Tested a bit today with someone and got the following results:

Char lvl= 34.
Highest mastery= 29.

XP gained from red scorps (lvl 39-40)= ~750xp/~120spxp
XP gained from bunwangs (lvl 45)= ~500/~90.

I think that's enough to prove that mastery determines the gap.
