Nope, you can kill whatever wears a thief suit without getting murderstatus.
That is, if you're wearing Trader Flag or Hunter Card.

i've had a few people trash talk so much to me in-game when i am a hunter lol. They end up face down in a pool of their own blood. Gota love people that trash talk but have no way of backing it up. Actions are louder then words.

i agree but been a thief now is so verry hard as for 1 instance i was jobing had 1v1 battle with hunter he couldent kill me, and i couldent kill him then all of a suden he went zerk and also spawned 10 mercks that in the end killed me. that is so so gay far enough the hunter went zerk but to spawn 10 mercs for 1 thief is over the top
and to top matters a euro came along and gave 29str and i think 30int to the hunter a few other buffs while we was 1v1 lol
after the overkill i asked what lvl and we where both lvl80

Yup, traders above Lv40 get killed no matter stars...
But dont worry, trading is still quite the same, get some hunters, atleast they are free now ~_~

Man if you are a hunter please I need you to answer me some questions: What do you win if you are a hunter?(because you sad that you are payd for it)....I heared people that the hunters take 50% of selled goods if they are in party whit the trader that is selling that goods, and someone else told me that you get some money once a week, just because you are hunter, like sro would pay you...I want to know which of these are wright and what hunters win

basically bugy you help a trader take his goods to the next city, if your in the same party as the trader when the trader sells the goods you get a nice amount of hunter exp. SRO pays you through a weekly salary that depends on how much hunter activity you do during the week which can be collected at the hunter guild. As for the amount of gold you get depends on how much you do. I've heard of ppl getting 3mill but most i've got is 1.6mill.

Do you want to say that the amount of money I get depends on how much hunter exp I get?

it depends on how much goods the traders you escorting sells. The trade runs have 2 be back 2 back daily contiguios for 7 days and at the start of week 2 you get a hefty sum. suggest for people lvl 64+ who can escort 5 stars back to back daily [i tryed at lvl 32, and 47 i failed

Damnit, it's this simple...
Hunters get paid real gold if they are in party with a trader and near him when he sells(i dunno the % tho, i doubt it's 50%, more like 10% at most). You ALSO get a weekly income depending on how much you've been hunting in SRO instead of going out with your friends. For thieves it's the same...idk about traders though.
Which brings me to the second topic, actually the first one :
You cannot alt+kill a merchant under 40 with a 1* if you are a thief.period.No you dont get murderer, because you simply cannot.Game will restrict you.Same goes for traders trying to attack thieves...You want pvp, destroy the transport first:P.So 1*ers really have nothing to fear if they are under 40, only the mobs , their own spawns and maybe some higher lvl trader's ones. The only persons that can attack 1*s directly are people in a non-job state...those get offender / murderer status though.

When you say hunting you mean just helping traders or killing thiefs? I mean that weak salary depends on how much hunter exp you get...but if you kill player thiefs, you get a lot of hunter exp, or just helping traders?

>.> argh its how many thieves you kill, AND howmany goods the trader/s in your party sell
