Ok i recently took up theiving.

It doesn't matter who I attack (traders) I get the cannot attack a 1star trade. Wth?

positive they weren't under lvl 40?

You can attack 1*s as long as the player level is 41 or higher. Anyone 20-40 has 1* protection from player thieves.

ah i see. well then... how do i lvl o.O. does that mean i g2 get to lvl40 before i can do anything with my theif?

You can still attack anyone at any level if they're doing 2* or more, so if you're lucky you can find someone below lvl 40 doing a 2* or higher and kill them. You could also scavenge for loot that was left over by another player thief or was left from a trader that got killed by his own npcs, so you can still thief at your level though it's probably more effective to thief at higher levels.

i suggest drop thief job ;P do hunter or a trader xD
