pk2 editing your own equip?

is there a way that only your OWN equipment gets changed
if i change my d1 bow to d9, i dont want to see anybody else showing a d9 bow
if i change my d1 bow to d9, i dont want to see anybody else showing a d9 bow
. I dotn think you can ONLY change yours either, unless each character has like, a special line for their armor
