I used to be a blader and it was great but leveling was insanely slow.

I guess that build was great for thieving since i could tank a while. Well anyway I haven't played for 1.2 years and im starting over since my old account has disappeared off the face of the earth.

Im going pure str again.

So my question is what pure str build do i choose so i can excel in pvp and thieving.

excel in pvp and thiefing AND not level insanely slow. TELL ME HOW

Bow is the best full STR option for killing imo, as glavie hits too slow. The disadvantage, however, is that glavies get their status (stun, etc) skills much much much earlier than bows do. Not that bow users suck without them, but in terms you'd understand, it's like you getting your chains at 7x.

If you plan on going all the way, I'd say bow, as from 7x+, it's incredible in PvP. Before that, it ain't bad either. Like Squall without Lionhart.

i tought bow was an int build.

So for pvp it goes from 1 being the best and 5 being the worst

1.*Blade + Shield (high blocking, slow leveling)
2.*Bow (High attack, faster leveling)
3.*Glaive (Slow attack)


Then

4.*Sword (Not enough hp but has blocking over spear)
5.*Spear (Not enough hp but has a slower attack)

Bow can be str or hybrid, int bows suck and are easily owned by most any other int char, because they dont have the good crits that bow users need.

but is my list correct?

What if i farm w/ the bow then level to my desired level. At that point, grind on curst hearts, then spend all my money, and transform my bow into a blader.

So it'd have to power of the blade but leveled at the speed of a bow.

Power of the blade? The only thing weaker than a str blade is a str sword..

That was kind of the point.. And spear/s/s are both the hybrid int weapon of choice. In fact, i see more spear hybrids and pure int s/s than the opposite.

Str spear is stronger than str blade :p more phy dmg. Some Hybrid spears are even stronger than their equally equipped str glavie counterparts
