what is an 80:80 build?

Is an 80:80 build a 1:1? or is it something different? what is so good about it?

its basically hybrid, where the phys and mage defence %'s are 80, its good for PvE and somtimes for lastin in PvP, im not with it but many ppl do that

It's not 1:1, it's more along the lines of 1:2.

when u strip yourself of all your equipment and u look at your stats. the mag balance and phys balance should be around 80% each

^^ no when you strip naked you Phy % and Magic % should be
70/70 when you put all your equipment on should be 80/80.
