I somehow picked up a chakji eye, which was a quest I completed already... I saw my character pick it up, though belonged to someone else. I cannot drop the item, I cannot destroy, put it into storage, or sell it.

How do I get rid of it??

you can sell all quest items...and you are lying anyway (sorry if you aint) cuz you can NEVER pick up other peoples stuff

he's not lying... Quest drops can time out just like normal items. A friend was in group with me and gathered one of my quest items (I warped before anyone saw it).

He could not trade it to me, but I don't know how he got rid of it.

Selling it to the NPC will probably get rid of it, although I still think it's very unlikely (or if it even is possible) to get another's quest item.

Nope, no lie. I was trying to pick up some gold that someone had abandoned (darn bots!) and the quest item was right next to it. It warned me once that it belonged to someone else, and then picked it up (using autograb)

I think I tried to sell it to an npc, no luck.

you can pick up the items if the person goes off line,

I was able to sell the strange quest item to an npc.... *whew*

i once got a purification seed...

There's another way that ppl can get ur quest item.
When in a party with another guy that he's already in the same quest you are on and its set to "items auto sharing" he'll have the ability to take some of the items.
