EURO Low SP from mobs with 9lvl gap :(

Well..i'm an lvl 49 EURO...with a gap of 9 lvls.
I killed a lvl 56 mob with the gap and it gave me 324xp with 315SP.
Lvl 45mobs give me 150XP with 146SP.
Is it normal ? i mean..i thought they would give like at least 400sp on a lvl 45 to 49 mob.I'll farm forever to get to 50.000 SP(my first target was 100k SP but this would take like ...very much)
The thing is that my mastery is lvl 40 and i'm wearing lvl 42-46 prot. stuff.
So..is it normal ? And where should i farm?
