Info about events?

Well..never saw an event in game and i wasn't able to find too much info about them..
I would like to know what's whit them..
I know that you can get GDF's from events and other stuff...but what more ?
And another question is..do monster scrolls mobs and pandora's box mobs drop special items and which ? And i would like to know about Christmas events since i guess that will the first event i'll see in SRO.

only played in one event a while back i think it was a halloween event I cant remember though. Monster boxes dropped randomly from mobs and you could turn them in for speacial items at the event lady. Prizes ranging from Gold to Weapon elixirs to speacial attribute scrolls.
I just started playin again this summer though so I dont know whats been goin on since then.

AFAIK there was Xmas and Easter event and couple of compensation events because of the emergency inspections.
Also I can remember some kinda Monster Mash even or something... is that correct or was it in WoW?

No no thats right, it was about a year back
