Difference between hat and hood

Hi, so I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between hats and hoods, coronets and crowns, and the other ones, besides the graphical differnce of visibility. Does a hat have better stats over the hood in a certain area, or vice versa....? THX

Hats generally do have better stats as they can only be obtained from monster drops.

Its rare to see a hat that has +0% stats on it.

That's just speaking from experience though, I've never had a TRULY CLEAN hat drop... I may be wrong though.

I had a lvl 59 Garment Hat(Visible) with 23 parry(0%) no blues. and My brother found a lvl 63 Hood(Not Visible) with 100% parry, and it had 24. So far right now it seems like the Hats have better stats, but i am here for confirmation, and to see if there are any other parts of the equipment that differ in stats.

If Hat all 0% and Hood all 0% same lvl, then the exact same, yes I can prove it, yes mmosite for SRO (for those of you that go) is wrong.

the only real difference i can see is hats you can see on someones head, hoods you cant, im not sure if thats just my computer though, can anyone else see hoods on peoples heads?
