europe party system question

i read that europe is party based game. i just want to know how are items distributed in a party? automaticly? cos i dont get what if a monster drops sos and then party membres get into fight of who gets it? is that even possible? how do this things work?
and about bard. i wanna know if u'r bard how can you get any item at the beginning? cos u cant fight or can you? huh

just like in china part, you can chose auto share or distribution for both
options; xp and itemsand about bard. i wanna know if u'r bard how can you get any item at the beginning? cos u cant fight or can you? huh
every class has a standard attack move. and bards can get items in
party too because parties have the settings on share items anywayz..

if the party is set on auto (most likely) than yes..
items are distributed automatically..
as for sos drops... you better make sure you have some nice party members? xD
