because your paying 20k for one regular one or a million for the red one, whats the big advantage?

You look nicer. I always thought the one flag to the side is off balancing and doesn't work well with the matching degree outfits, so 990k extra for looks.

well the cheaper 1 looks like a beggineer merchant and the 1m flag looks like a PRO mechant

it seems to me that the red lures less theives and i heard that from some players but im not 100% sure

You shouldn't buy them you can get them from events only if you really want one (cuz your friends have one maybe...)
