coding a program, is it 3rd party?

i was thinking, what if i coded a program, that would force sro to run in windowed mode (for those that cant do it).

it would in no way directly edit silkroad, as no information would be passed into it, it would be like a virtual fullscreen (fullscreen emulator), which is actually a window, so silkroad only runs in that?

would this be counted as 3rd party, or not?

*also, it would work on any fullscreen program.

Anything not from Joymax is considered 3rd party.

but...

its not altering the game or giving an advantage.

its like running the game on windows, windows is emulating the .exe file.

this program is emulating it.

ultimately, if this isnt allowed, you would be allowed to play sro on linux, thourgh a windows emulator (which i do on my other pc).

anything not coming directly from joymax, even if just a thing to run windowed mode, even if it's not against the rules, even if it's colored blue really, is considered 3rd party development.

Though there is no way they can detect you, I think.

Don't know if they can, you are altering files, dnnw if they can detect that.

Anyway, it's not worth the risk.

alt+windows+enter doesn't work for you?

I'm pretty sure the rules don't specify so you can try your luck if you want...
