Help with torrent

Its at 12% and is goging verry slow i had it at 20 kbs which is ok but not good. its now down to 10-1 kbs and the seeds are 2(2) peers 2(1498) up speed is 0.0 ratio is .915 and avail 2.466. can anyone help me and it says my router dose not accept the port and i enabled the encryption thing that says should make it go faster. can anyone one speed this up some how for me?

maybe if it get's more seeders, be patient.

is there a away to keep ur seeds it went to 30(35) then dropped to 2(35) and when it hits zero i usually just restart the torrent again till it drops to nothing again and so on. it keeps the % and all.

Nope, seeders are people whom downloaded or are downloading the file, and keep it in there list to be downloaded from they're machine by others. If they delete, move, replace a torrent, you lose a seeder. can't influence it.

what is the point of the peers?

torrents are p2p, which means peer-to-peer
peers are the seeders (content providers) and the leechers (content downloaders), whom share content.
a peer can be a seeder, or a leecher.

in properties it says peer exchange checked off what if i un-checked it would it stop me from downloading or just them from takint it from me?
