Hi guys, first off nice forum you have here for SRO.
Ok my question: I've been at this game for a week or so and I just got a lvl 26 Honor Steel Shield with Critical 35 (+100%) as one of the blue stats at the bottom. My question is, is this critical referring to guarding against critical hits? Or is it inexplicably linked to you dealing out critical hits on your target?
And is there a (mathematical) formula that determines how much it helps in whatever it does?
Thanks guys.

Appreciate the quick response.
The second part of my question still stands though: what does this number mean? Right now I see "Critical 35" and I have no idea what kind of impact it will have on preventing crits against me---it's just a number. Is there some kind of formula or guide to figuring out exactly how much this helps me, besides just "more is better"?

Lol funny how the question about the formula still isn't answered.
Seriously, isn't there a comprehensive formula page somewhere for stuff like how crits and blocking ratios and such are calculated into the final damage/to-hit equations?
(And I don't even play D&D!)

Joymax has it uploaded in there servers, so we have no idea what it is.
We have speculations on formulas that we think are right, but they are not 100% correct.
I'm sure you could search it on here, or use Google.
