1. Try spending skill points.
2. There's no skill that makes it 'easier' to get SoS.

well. that would make it
almost identical to WoW. So why not play WoW then instead.
They're not gonna add professions, it doesn't fit the hitory involved in making this game, the historic traderoute is the center of this game's storyline. So trading, thieving and hunting are logical choices. People probably fished etc. as well in those early days, but that doesnt add anything to the storyline like it does in WoW.
agreed, it would make things more fun, but i don't think anything like it will ever be added.
they will add some sort of minigames however. like castle sieges and such.

no sh*t.
To efficiently play and level in Silkroad, you've got to pay as well. and more as WoW. Believe me 60+ without golden ticket or Premium ticket, is one hell of a long road.

Eh tell me about it.. Went all the way to 70 with only a monkey ^^. I dont mind spending 5 bucks to FatMax even though they're extreme lazy cows... That's beside the fact. Yeh.. Lv 70 no GT is the same as getting lv 80 with GT.

LOL. Or Runescape. Last I remembered, you could also learn "agility" there, as well as "runemaking". Come on, son. You know you want to play Runescape! Full Rune Armor FTW!
OT: Priam got it all right. There's nothing left to say. JoyMax won't be implementing anything soon like "woodcutting". This game is revolved around the SilkRoad... which is kinda the game name. None of that "dragon-hunting" shit, lmao.

Seriously, dude. Stop trying to take shortcuts and typing retarded. It doesn't make you look cool. And "skillz" isn't even really a shortcut from "skills," so why don't you just type it correctly, and avoid the hassle of people calling you stupid?

Do you really want to catch a million lobster, chop a million trees, make a million pots, and then kill a million mobs?

If I could put those million lobsters in those million pots and light a million fires with that wood and have lobster dinner every day till the day I died?
You bet your ass I would.

That sounds like torture. Even real fishermen can't stand to eat there own catch more than a few times a week.

i played wow for like a year, most the tradeskills like fishing have absolutely nothing to do with any story, unless it was skills used in making the legendary weaps.
though something like fishing and other common skills would probobly
be botted to oblivion.
that would be hella cool if you could lvl up one tradeskill in sro and find like super super rare drops that combine into some crazy weaps that are better then sosun. and you need the use of alot of tradeskills which means help of your guildmates etc.
ie:
super super rare drop piece A B and C combine into super seal of ownage weapon.
after you somehow get all 3 pieces by finding / buying for insane amounts of gold, you need to put it together
A requires a master of a certain tradeskill to refine
B requires another master of a diffrent tradeskill to process
C is super rarest drop and needed to complete weap
all 3 require a master of yet another tradeskill to combine (like blacksmithing)
and with the help and effort of you and your guildmates your guild gains a player with a weapon that just destroys everything

OR:
You could play Silkroad Online, and kill 1 million Flowers for a stupid quest...
O wait nvm, you could COLLECT 1 million quest items from every monster, that requires 5Million kills.
yeah, I like the thinking behind Runescape, I mean that game was freaking awsome...
Unless you could see and you saw the crappy graphics -.-
If Joymax could mimic Runescape instead of WoW, then it would be pretty fun.

Well I would rather be able to shoot fireballs out of my hands after wasting time instead of being able to chop the almighty oak tree or start a fire.
