pure str or pure int bow?

I was under the impression that pure str bows were better, but then some people say pure int is, though a pure int bow would be nuking, and spear nuking's better...

I'm trying to make a bow, I have a pure str ice bow lvl 6 is that really bad? should i make a new one with fire? or pure int with ice?

Pure str fire bow is supposively the best bow build.

yesh but pure int bow hits harder on bandits = better farming xP

My simple answer = what i have done and its been succesful only for i didnt farm properly, INT all the way to lvl 16 and farm the bandit stronghold. Then Int str 3-3 til lvl 28 then str all the way, in currently looking for Str Hyb 90% str and as a jobber (IMO the stru test of a build, im a hunter) anyway as a hunter this build is v succesful others will argue but in my experience i can fight poeple wiht SoX weaps with a simple +4/+5 weap and poon them my crits are still huge but in between my imbued combo still really hurts them at 60% mag and weakens enought to if i crit either strong bow or deivl they are dead, any ways im bdrumk have a fgood night pm me for more info

:? i figured i'll experiment with str ice, since it does less damage then str fire, but has better effects, and my brother and i are working together, hes a blader, so he can take my shots... not really but close enough :P
