ok. you mixing things up a bit. degree is the degree of a weapon as in first
degree (weapons starting from lvl 1), second degree (weapons starting from
lvl 8), etc. what you mean is the enchantment or "+" of the weapon.
you have it on +3 which is a nice white glow. on +5 you will get a purple
glow. on +7 you will get a gold glow and on +9 a blue-ish glow if im right.
the higher you + your weapon, the more chance it fails (its always a low
chance but imo its harder to get it above +3 than to get it to +3). the max
enchantment i think is +244, but nobody is nuts enough to try it. highest
i have seen is +9.
if you go over +4, it is said you have a chance your item will be destroyed.
to prevent this, you should add immortal to it.
if you go over +4, you can get a durability reducement. add steady to
prevent this.
to keep it from going to +0, you can add astrals to your weapon from +4
and further. astrals you can buy with real money from item mall and will
keep your weapon on +4 minimum.
