i added to shield + 3
and when i wanted to make it + 4
it failed and turned into + 0 i always use lucky powders
how turn into + 0

When any item enhancment with an elixir fails it reduces to +0.

(Unless you have it at +4 and have astral equiped then it will Be kept at +4 if it fails)

You where just unlucky T_T

Just luck man... alchemy = luck.... i ve been playing around with alchemy lately... this what u´re talking about happens to me 2 times.. when i try to +4 my sos bow it was dropped to 0 so i started over and the 3 rd time i was lucky enough and it turned to +4 ....
when u´re enhacing something there is always the posibilityof dropping the enhacement to 0 so its up to u to keep trying or just getting use to a + 1 or +2 equip...
u need patience and A LOT OF CASH...

Astrals are a waste of money. After failing to +7 my bow 3 times (using an amout of astrals im embarrassed to say ) i said forget it, no more astrals. Since then, ive gotten to try for +7 2 more times, both failed though

But still, it is more than possible to get the + you want without using astral. You might have to spend a bit more in game gold, but i would rather lose that then real money.

Astral = waste of money
Immortal = Must, if your wanting to go past +5

And remember, if your gonna go for +5, USE STEADY! The red duro loss you can get is such an eyesore
