I have been farming the bandit stronghold for about a week now. I have a pet to pick up items and gold. I usually farm until either all my inventory gets full or durability gets to low and back to town to sell/storage/repair. I have yet to get a elixir or sox drop. I am currently lvl 20 using a lvl 18 + 2 bow (best I can find for now) getting close to a mill in gold. I know I will need more to buy a sos bow or better weapon.


Do I just keep grinding it out and eventually I will get lucky or is there a better place to find sox items/weapons?

My bow is also lucky 6 times I read somewhere that this gives you better drops but it does not feel like it right now. any thoughts?

the chance of someone getting an sox is based on luck

there is no formula nor item that will increase your chance in getting an sox

Yep
One day I got a SoS and SoM drop, but those are the only ones I've ever gotten.

..yeah i didn't really wanna rub it in but i'm so happy.
Yeah dood i was in the den && all you need is patience.

Here's a little tip i think might help you.
Use a bow
-you don't have to run around as much so you kill at a faster rate
Have more than one bow
-i keep three bows w/ me when i'm at the den so i can stay there as long as possible
Don't pick up accessories
-i have my pet pick up money and equipments only so i don't need to go back to the city as much

I do use a bow i have 2 with me usually get about half way through the 2nd one by the time my armor starts to fail/inventory gets full. and I do have a pet.

How long did it take you to get your sox at the den? I am patient I know it will come...

Damn lvl20? Arent Archers blue now? I found my first SoX from a Chakji Worker, it was a 16+5 spear (16+5+5=26 spear ^^), my 2nd SoX was from a Death Flower, lvl36 Female Protector Tasset, so yeah its all on luck AND the difficulty of the mob, blue mobs hardly give anything, let alone an sox

SOx drops is just luck. (i have found two so far) also the lucky 6 times has nothing to do with the drop rate, is only for alchemy, same effect as the lucky powder
