Ok so I just got to level 20 and became a merchant. Now do I buy my goods in Jangan and bring them to Downhang. If so will i survive the trip??? I've never done any ummm merchanting before. Please help!

Yes, you can survive the trip.

Since you're a low level go the long way around.
1 - bring HP pots MP pots and Universal Pills
2 - bring 2 extra camels/horses + 20~30 pet heals

now that you have those, do a 1 STAR. you can get popped but at least you won't die at the hand of legit thieves.

1 - take the west gate to east ferry
2 - go to homelands then carefully go to don east gate.
3 - good luck.

chakijis, hyugno ghost soldiers, Earth Ghosts~~!! are all aggro, so if you can avoid them, do so.
Especially Earth Ghosts.

You can try but you wont make it past all the earth ghosts and those other mobs without a high lvl hunter. Too low lvl. And thats added to the big possibility you will run into a high lvl thief who will just walk beside you until his thieves spawn.

If you still wanna try you will need 100+ 1k pet healing pots. You will use them all trying to tank all those monsters with the lvl 20 transports.

there are level 1s that make it to devil yetis I'm pretty sure a level 20 can make it past a few earth ghosts. It just takes some skill.

If you're trying to go as fast as you can it's true you're gonna need a lot of pet pots but he just wants to try it and I say he can. I did it at level 20, people in Poseidon are doing it at level 20, it's possible.

which goods do you suggest i buy? and should i go from downhang to jangan or jangan to downhang or does none of this make a difference?

How much gods should i buy worth and how much money will i make of that?

Just buy goods until you have a full 1*.
Stay off roads, don't go for the shortest route unless you really like to die and lose your stuff.

Oh yeah and the edit button is there for a reason, no reason to triple post.

23 is a good level for it, when i get home ill list you my two routes, i can easily do a 3 star on one of them, my secret so ill pm it to you.

if u find a hunter ask him if he wants to help u trade but if u meet a guy on the way ho asks to help u u should be on youre guard cuase they can be thiefs

cuz theres no not enough high lvl people with enough interest on poseidon.....yet

think of it this way

1 merchant trip:
~30k profit @ ur lvl
- pots
- time
- tiny exp

fighting:
~20k profit PER drop @ ur lvl
- pots
- time
- exp

two drops and ur already ahead of merchant trips... and u get lvls
