What exactly does the plus number on weapon or item mean? This is what is granted by successful elixir attempts and is great to have but what does it do? Thanks!

Each + increases the attack stats or defencive stats on the item being +d.

The more +s the more additional Attack or Defence = the more +s the more pwnage

The higher the number, the better the stats.

Think of it as an addition to the level. So a level 16 (+3) item would be like a level 19 item.

that and you get glow effect on your weapon.

+3/+4 is white-ish
+5/+6 is purple-ish
+7/+8 i dont remember
+9 blah somebody fill in plz i never got over +5 xD

not the shiny glows though thats seal of star, seal of moon, seal of sun.

seal of star equals approx. +5
seal of moon equals approx. +10
seal of sun equals approx. +15

Ok +'s from elixirs are like a higher level weapon but....

Post by robert_utk »

So the big plus number from an elixer adds attack or defens numbers similar to the higher level NPC version of the same weapon, so a 10+3 bow will attack similarly to a generic level 13 bow. I get that. So am I right to say then that tables/stones only change the OTHER stats like durability etc, and that elixir is the ONLY way to increase the actual attack/defense of an item? Or can tablet/stones do the same thing as elixirs just way less powerful/effective? And what about the +INT and +STR blue qualities? DO those come from elixirs or stones or neither?

Thanks alot!

ok. now lag on my internet will make me post too late but anywayz :P

elixirs upgrade the base stats. for example ph attack WAS 101-112 at +0
and at +1 its 106-115. this is when there is a (+0%) behind the stat. that
means its the base stat.

stones can upgrade the (%), or bonusses of the attack. if you have the
101-112(+0%) on your weapon and you put in a stone, it can come out
like 110-118(+62%).

the blues are also added by stones. the different type of tablets make
different type of stones. some are to add blues, some to add (%) and
some to make potions.

meh its late here.. maybe somebody can add or explain better, but this
is the basics ;)
