Bloom Effect

does it do anything besides darken and blur the game? because i perfer the crisper image w/o it... but i dont want to miss out on graphical content by turning it off.... so does it do anything else?

I just like how the imbues look with the blur on... specially Lighting, it looks awful without it.

it provides more contrast (go stare at the ht staircase in a sunny day and you'll know what i mean).

It basically blurs and softens everything.
