Hello right now I'm lvl 21 with 7 gap. It's insanely hard to get exp but sp comes very easy expecially when I use 100% exp scrolls. I plan to keep using these scrolls but I want to lvl for the lvl 30 nuke. I planned to keep the gap until 30 but it's so hard to get exp. Right now I have 1.8k sp. Should I close the gap to lvl up and farm with the nukes at 39?

Levelling with a gap always is a bit harder, but at 21 it shouldn't be that hard. In higher levels you'll get 0.01 or less per kill, think about that, is this really the game for you?
Level on green monsters for quicker kills and get some gear with + int/str.
Getting the heuksal tree to lv 13 also isn't a bad idea for the soul spear which helps levelling a lot.

don't worry, it only gets harder to lvl as u get to a higher lvl
i use bow even if im pure int coz i want to hit them without getting hit. i'll change to spear as soon as i get my nuke. 7-9 gap from lvl 7 and im only lvl 24 after 2 weeks it doesn't help when i commit suicide to stay in the lvl a couple of times

don't worry about exp too much, u'll get more than enuf from quest (though u'll still lvl alot slower than 0 gap) but hey, as soon as u get enuf sp, o gap and catch up

Edit: What weapon are you using? Have you used skill calculators and character builders to see exactly how much SP you will need, or how much you need to get to a good farming level.
