Is it a good idea to buy a wolf. I'm currently lvl 15 and i've only got 220000gp. And if I should buy, when should I do it

If you can put down 1 mil gold and not be pinched financially, then by all means buy a wolf...but kill some passive mobs until its near enough to your level to survive better.

Suggestions to fix iSRO:
-Gold wipe
-Daily Bot bans
-Make SoX items acquirable only with Honor Points

My wolf is about 2 levels under my current level, and I love the little guy. I'd feel weird without him.

If you want to make money quick too.. get you a monkey, then go sit in an area that you can just hang around in and not worry about dying (depends on your level).. let your monkey do all the collecting it can. :D

I used to go sit next to the ferry man and let my monkey loose.. gathered up all kinds of nifty things, just from that.

This is true, if all you're after is quick, straight-out cash.

However, certain *ahem* people grinding chakjis and hyungno ghost soldiers tend to forget their precious item drops that I can void rondo into elements and use for myself, or sell.
