Imbue - higher lvl in force or weapon mastery?

i know a higher level in whatever mastery will mean greater damage but was wondering if i max out the fire imbue books but keep it low-level, just high enough to get fire imbue at max, and get weapon mastery to lvl 80, will i get less damage than what i would get if both my weapon and force mastery were at level 80?
basically:
the damage from a normal attack with imbue
soul fire force lvl 3 (fire mastery lvl 80) + bicheon lvl 80>
soul fire force lvl 3 (fire mastery lvl 69) + bicheon lvl 80 ?

Depends on your build, str builds will want to max their weap tree while int build will want to max their force tree(s).

good point.. since there is no skill after lvl 70 (yet).. does your dmg also increase with your mastery lvl?? i sure wanna know...not that i won't max my fire since i'm a nuker, but it's just nice to know

The increase that a str will get from increasing their main force tree (fire for example) should be about the same as an int would get by increasing their weapon tree. It will increase the overall damage because of the % bonus from the higher mastery levels.
To answer the example question...the damage of the 80 fire 80 bicheon will be greater than 69 fire 80 bicheon. By how much? Im not sure.

for a pure str adding force mastery will make a difference but VERY LITTLE so its not really worth it and pure int is the opposite weapon mastery wont help it that much

thanks for the input guys . so from what I understand the extra levels will help increase damage for sure but not that much depending on whether the build is pure int or str right?
so how about if i was making a build based on this guide:
http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=29815
it suggests getting 80 bicheon and 80 fire but are the extra levels in bicheon really worth-it since the build is pure int? anybody with experience with this please help. some numbers to give a general idea on the difference in damage would be nice
