yeah, sory bout the title, couldn't think of another 's' word to finish my alliteration

to the point ^

when i use spear attacks such as the ghost spear, and spinning thing (forgot formal name xD) should i switch to shield which 'unloading' in that pause period?

obviously this is for 1v1 pvp, im just wondering, obvious pros are the block and obvious cons are i have to 'work' more, and if my timing is off could cause me to lose precious seconds

uhm so you are a pure int?? not sure when you want to be using it...don't understand what you are saying.

but i'm a dual weapon.. and yes it needs some practice and yes if you can't do it smooth it will get you killed.

So i use macro's makes it a lot easier but i do it without macro's too sometimes.. but in a good fight you need them, cause you can't afford to be on the wrong slot or have the wrong weapon. our have your shield and not your sword(wich happend to me a lot).

anyway my typical fight against a blade/glavie.. (cause that's when i use dual weapon) goes a lil something like this.

startout with s/s fire nuke, kd(till he goes down else nuke and kd again), jump stab, stab then castle shield, soulspear(pray it will stun him) then nuke twice. Then start over again..(from the kd) but most ppl are already dead if i get to finish this combo all the way through.. since i have sos now ^^

but then again.. against a blader you prob will not get to finish this combo since he will kd you unless you stunn him ofcourse.

no, he's just saying there's that slight after use delay when using ghost spear, so during that short period is it worth it to switch to a shield. i don't know (i've never tried it), but i personally don't think it's worth it because the delay is not that long and you'll probably have to switch back immediately after u get to shield. and it's a lot of work.

well if you mean that period.. nah man.. cause there is a short delay after switching weapons too. So unless you are gonna use a sword beside your shield.. it's not worth it imo.. but then again.. i never tried it. get some shield drop and test it out.. then let us know

well from what i saw (i think it was two lvl 64+) fighitng each other, they would switch to shield before the second swing of the thrid soul spear book and the time it takes for the ghost spear to go around and they still get blocks, but yeah itll take A LOT of practice xD
