i always use this..it's called a Trader Table
http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=200181#200181
and a profit table you can easily make since the profit is always the same % of what you buy it for around 250% from my head.. but dunno.
And the items in diffrent towns are pretty much the same price.. you just have a number of diffrent prices. And in diffrent towns they have a diffrent name but that's all, same basic in all towns... items in hotan ain't more expensive or anything.

I think profit depends on the distance covered.
You will get alot more from jangan - hotan then donwhang - hotan.

yeah but it ain't worth it...if you wanna go jangan-hotan.. you better do jangan-dw and dw-hotan.. it will make ya more then sell your jangan stuff at hotan. Don't ask me why.. dunno.. but that's the way it is.
but what i forgot was that.. dw-hotan gives you more profit then dw-jangan because of the mobs on the way there.. they are higher.

Yep, there is really no point in doing hotan - jangan runs if money is what your looking for. The only purpose it serves is a change in scenery.
The most money is made going from hotan to dw and vice versa.
Im also about 98% sure that what goods you carry mean nothing either. The more expensive goods dont mean more profit.
More expensive goods = you carry less
Less expensive goods = you carry more
It evens out, just try to max out whatever star your doing with any mixture of goods and your set.

yeah you are right.. only total worth of all the goods counts .. how you got to that amount.. doesn't affect anything.

Rofl you are extremely lucky...
Because just five minutes ago I had a lvl 42 guy protecting me (i'm lvl 25) from jangan -> dw. When we were close to dw some lvl 60+ theif started to pop us. I potted the hell out of my camel my 50 X-large pots couldn't do it.
I ran for my life and survived thankfully...but dammit.
Before that I had a lvl 64 chick help me from dw -> jangan...that was successful with no problems at all.
Just my experiences.

Heh I remember I was doing a trade dw > jangan, and near the bridge that connects the land where jangan is and the other land, some lvl 60+ and lvl 3X guy (theifs) looked at me. Thankfully a hunter came by and fought with the lvl 60 guy...The lvl 3X guy...Now here's the irony. He was trying to pop me and his theives I could handle. (=D) Although they were red I could still handle them. Then the hunter comes back and PWNS the lvl 3X guy and I make it safely to jangan....
Fun times....
This has somewhat to do with the guide.
Y'know how if you theif your trader exp goes down and vice versa..can your trader lvl delvl? That'd suck if it could...
