yeah this is a pretty nice guide wich covers the basics.. of how it should be.

However the truth is a little diffrent. Mulistars don't pass by every 3min...so you can sometimes wait for hours and just see 1stars pass by.
So what do you do?? you get some loot (some you got from a multistar, you found or made a friend drop) then you get your horse in front of a 1star and make your npc kill the trader since you can't. This way you get more loot then waiting for a multistar to pass.

Yeah they'll hate you, yeah lots may think this ain't fair.. I mostly take 30+ since i think they should know what to do by now. So new traders are mostly save from me.. unless i'm really bored then i take anybody

and about the friends part.. this helps a lot.. we usually get like 8 ppl (full party) and spread throughout the whole area. This way you won't all die if a hunter passes by (cause 1 will die.. and tell everybody) and you'll be able.. if you are good enough...to get all the traders...or at least most of thema and work together in taking traders down. We usually keep 1 high lvl with a low lvl.. and this works great.. unless a lvl 80 passes and keeps hanging arround.. and f.ucks up our whole operation :banghead:

anyway gL thiefing

that's right..well most noobie traders hate it.. :D

but it's the direct result of a lack of multistar traders. You see the lvl 45+ doing 1star i just think PUSSY!! and they are the reason us thiefs are forced to go after 1stars cause we would just shoot roots if we wouldn't.

besides a lvl 30+ that get's popped is just a lil' noob imo.
I never got popped after lvl 30 unless it was a lvl 64+ that i didn't see comming.

If you see a thief with transport.. your only have a few goals

    1. get on your horse.. no matter what you were doing.. get your ass on that horse.
    2. make sure that his transport don't get in front of yours It's just get on your horse and don't stop untill they give up. Ride straight no cirkels or get back...just ride away.. as fast as your slow ass horse can take ya...
    3. and this really seems abvious but i'll put it in here..keep your horse a live.. how?? get lot's of transport heal. x-large if you can afford it.
So DON"T GET OFF YOUR HORSE!!!
If you still get popped then.. well i'd be amased.

Now how hard is that..:banghead: but nooo they don't do that.. they wait.. like 2min.. look at me.. like wooow a thief.. and cool gear.. and huh what is that.. a npc thief...no plz .. don't do it!!...Yeah well be that noob but then you have it comming.

and if you got a camel.. well then just get off run and leave it.. cause you ain't got a chance..:D it's the noobs that want to get max profit and min. risk that take a one star on a camel.. and they are the easy preys :)

must be some thiefs out there. that don't like me for telling this.. and not letting ppl figure this out on their own.. but hey what can i say.. i like a challange.. I like it when I finally found a trader that knows what to do and gets away... i always tell them.. "respect to ya.. nice!!"
Unfortunatly i usually got to listen to a endless beg, that finally leads to a very limited swear-vocabulary and about what they all did to my mom.
But it's okay ..:) It won't kill me.. and I sure as hell don't care.. so if it makes you feel better go ahead.

Unless you have a *very* high lvl friend to help you out, around 30 you will be wasted on sight, unless you can run away from them quickly enough... Too bad :P I strongly recommend thieving 45+ because if you *really* have to 1* pop then you spawn stronger thieves, when your 55+ you can begin PvPing, I started thiefing at lvl39 and believe me I did SOME 1* popping but usually when I get spotted by a hunter I get wasted on sight, the hunters like the easy exp and if your wanted they will want to kill you more than anything
