Weapon question. Please answer :)

Hi. I was told that changing weapons messes up the "weapon specification"?
Like a player does more damage with a weapon class that has been used since lvl1?
Is this true?
I am SP farming with a bow from lvl 1-21 then changing to spear. I havent bought any weapon skills btw, just fire imbue.
Please answer soon!

Ur question is quite confusing
Wat do u mean by Weapon Specification, ru referrin to Weapon Mastery (Skills) or Stats on te weapon?
In any case, if u change from Bow to Spear .. there is no specific change to b noticed.
Its ur build and te skills tat make te most difference

i meant like, say in real life, a guy learns how to use a certain gun, then someone gives him another gun to use, he wudnt know how to use it.
Sum1 said its like that?
On my last player he didnt do much damage and my mate said its cos i change from spear to glavie :S
I dunno.

Well its basically depends on ur build and te weapon used.
For eg - ur mate mus hav been a INT based character who was usin Spear and he mus hav tried to use Glavie which is basically for a STR based character.... so his dmg is less...
or
the stats on te Glavie mus b so pathetic tat he was not doin any dmg

no your friend is wrong. There are no bonuses or boosts from using a certain type of weapon for a long time. All of the extras come from putting points into a weapon class.

Damage is based on the weapon stats, str, int and skills, not how long you've used a weapon.

ya and weapons get exp too and a lvl1 will eventually be a lvl64 SOSUN weap - end scarasm
