u are wanted and hunters can kill u even if u don't have thief suit on. the limit is actually 3000 i believe.

Thats when you get wanted, if you kill somone else within that time you get a double penalty I believe.

it wears off as time passes, so just don't thief for a while when you are close to 3000 AP
