It have happened for me a couple of times now, Im killing a giant mob then some archer comes and shoot some and he get the money and items that drop, so now I wonder some.
In most moorpg's that Ive played, the one that get the first hit get all the drops, unless you're in a party or so.
In Silkroad, is it the one doing most dmg, getting last hit etc that get the drops?

the person hit the most hp get the item, but sometime first hit might get little advantage, i think if u first hit the monster and if u damage the monster 45% to 50% u will stil get the drop, cause i was fighting the gian on the first hit soem nukers come to attack he is stronger then me but i got the drop instead.....(not sure this really work)

Obviously if you drop his hp below 50% then no one else can possibly do more damage than you have.

actually they can... here is an example..i'm killing ishades i do about 80% of their life bar worth of damage when a nuker bot 7 levels higher comes by and does more damage in the last hit then i do in all my hits...even though i took ishade down to 20% left, he gets the items and gold.

yes, the system counts the total damage OUTPUT, not the total damage RECEIVED by the mob. so if a guy gives out more damage to a mob than you, then he will get the drop.

for example: a mob has 1000hp. you do 900 damage in total, so it has 100hp left. then this other guy comes along and does 1200 damage in 1 hit. since his 1200 > your 900, he will get the drop even though in reality the mob only received 100 damage from him.
