Silver ticket/gold ticket crisis (a little mystery)

anywas i was talking to my friend who had recently used a silver ticket. He used his three horurs for one day and when he logged back on two day from when he used his initial three hours (today) he said the ticket was gone from his inventory. He was a little pissed. what happened?

If it was the one he got for free with his account, it only last 3 hours...
If it was from the item mall, it was either a 24 hour one, or a 4 week one in which case, it will be in his buffs bar (up to) and still running.

wow thanks guys...i did not know that... i thought it was a week ticket or something. Geez i feel dumb...
