okay im a lvl 24 almost 25 my fire skill is @ 22 and my wep skill is @ 21 i have all of the first books in those 2 categories.. am i supposed to be getting lighting/cold/force also? im not really sure on what to do... or so total i dont really understand the hole 9 gap thing say i was doing a 9 gap does this mean my CHAR would be a lvl 33 and my Skill lvls would be @ lvl 22..? and when would you ever spend SP if you were doing that? please answer help me get unConfuSED Smile thank you

well, 9 gap means your lv is 9 lvs higher than your highest skill mastery lv, for example, if yoru lv is 25, u can have 16 in fire, 12 in ice, and 10 in weapon, u still 9 gap since your highest skill mastery lv is 16, so 25-16=9......if u really want to play this game for long time, at least til lv 69, u should farm at 16 with 9 gap in stronghold....for pure int, i dont know, but pure str, i suggest u get fully farmed at lv 16 cause i know how hard to farm at later lv for pure str..... i only farmed 110k at 16, that's why i had to farm more at lv 52. it was horrible compare to lv 16.... way to slow at later lvs........

Lol, crunksta... stay in one thread. You have so many posts with questions about sp and gaps and stuff... it might be easier for you to get an anwer if you stay in one place. This way you don't have to check each one to find answers and people like me won't get confused with what we've already told you.

If you leave your masteries at level 22, you will have a 9 gap at level 31. You probably want to get to level 32 and have level 23 masteries since you get the next degree weapon at that level. You have to decide how much sp you want based on the masteries and skills you plan to get. You can gain as much as you want at level 32 with a 9 gap. You can spend it, but if you plan to keep 9-gapping, you can't raise your masteries above 23. You are basically just going to save most of it for later when you'll need a lot of sp. I'm level 16 right now, and I plan to farm about 150k-200k sp. This will let me level up to over 70 and have enough sp for anything I want. I will also be able to go with a 0-2 gap the whole way which is much faster than leveling up with a higher gap.

You have to make all the decisions. There is no "correct" choice. Every person can choose his/her own build and str/int ratios. It's what makes the game fun and different characters unique. If there was one perfect build that was absolute best, everyone would follow that build. The game would then be boring. All that mattered would then be your combat level and what kind of equipment you have.
