Post by Koudee »

Hi after making my weapon into a +5, it shows a red writing on it that said (Maximum Durability 46% Redcuce)...can somebody tell me what this is and how I got it. If its bad then tell me if and how I can fix it. Thanks in advance.

Sure its bad :P. If you have a blue stat on your weapon, saying "Durability Increase ??(??%)" then it wont be so noticeable. If your weapon is already pimped and still doesnt have durability increase as a blue, buy a stone and add but be really careful, assimilation % musnt be more than 10...

You got the red stat when you try to +6; +7 and above your weapon and it fails. Then you get a random % of durability reduce or even a non-reapairable weapon. Seems you were lucky not to have that. And assimilation is when you put a stone to change something. When you fuse the stat the stone should be changes but another random stat also is changed by the same stone. It could be bad, it could be a good change. But assimilation is not often good. You see, if you put a durability stone with 30% assimilation there is much higher chance something other than durability to change. Hope you understood me :banghead:

When you produce a stone, or buy one, at the bottom of the explanation it has a text: "Assimilation probability: ??%". The higher the %, the higher the chance of something you dont want to change changes.

Ok... there are TWO red effects on items.

1 Repair Invalid Max Durability 400% increase
2 Max Durability 46% decrease

They are something like that. The first one, can only be seen on unique drops. These are drops from Tiger Girl, Uruchi, etc.

The second one, happens when trying to put '+'s on a weapon. I think this only happens above +5. Whenever you are this high in plusses and try to add more, there is a chance of gaining this red effect on your item when you FAIL. To prevent this, you need to make sure you have steady blues on your item. Once it's there, I don't think you can get rid of it. I've heard you can use probability assimilation to lower the amount of durability you lose, but you can't get rid of it totally.

Always have: astral, steady, and immortal on your weapon when it is +4 or higher and you want to increase the plusses just to be safe.
