Usually, when you get the box that pops up with the ???? error, it's related to your graphics card. Update your graphics card drivers and see if it happens again.

Sorry if I didn't answer your question, I just guessed at what your question was...

Update your drivers for:

video card
sound card
chipset

and you should be fine. That's what worked for me.
