Stop spamming if someone knows the answer they'll post, but if you keep spamming they'll think your annoying and not reply.

Did you screw with your hosts file >>.
When I try to start Silkroad Online I always see an error message telling me the server is having an inspection/update:
This can be caused either because joymax server stability, or your connection trying to reach joymax. Several users get this messages sometimes - but rarely, when the servers are very overloaded (in which case not even the web page is accessible).
If you always see this message, anytime during the day, and you have tried to start Silkroad Online several times it might be caused because:
* Your connection is blocking joymax
Which might be happening because:
- You have blocked Silkroad Client in your firewall
- You have blocked joymax web page in your firewall
- You might be using a router and not allowing the port for joymax
- Your ISP might not be able to handle connections to Korea
In this case, the following can be tested, and might solve the problem for some users:
1. Go to C/Windows/system32/drivers/etc
2. Open hosts with notepad
3. Add 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com under 127.0.0.1 localhost
4. Save and open Silkroad.
If you can't find any solution to this, you might want to call your ISP or visit their web page for additional information.

Check your client's version:
if the client won't update, run your windows in safe mode, then start SRO. it will update.
If your client is at the most recent version, check your firewall settings.
