Vent Servers and other Q's

ive been palying the game for a month or two now. ive read a lot of the guides on this forum just a few questions that i cant find answers to;
1. what is a vent server? (read this randomly somewhere)
2. how do i get rid of murder status? (accidently pvped a noob when he took his cape of
)
3. planning to farm at lvl 42 whats a good mob to farm on as a int heavy hybrid?
