Please help me,question about farming.......

Hello everybody.....

I have a lvl 11 pure STR Character.....
Now i am farming for skill points...
I have done this from te beginning i start the character,hope this is good?
All the mastery lvls are stil at 0
Now is my question,when do i have to upgrade my masterie skills?
I ask this because when i fight with a Bandit Bowman,i have verry long time needed to kill it.
The Gap of my character and my masterie skill is 9....
I get many skillpoints,but when i am fight,i find myself weak......took a long time to kill a monster......
Hope someone can help me with this...
I have readed all the tutorials about this,but i am still al little confused.
Do i have to use a Monkey or a experience helper?

You need skills to kill effectively. Get some skills now, and farm later when you have a good weapon and good gear.

You don't need a monkey or ticket, but it helps you get along much faster.
