Heh guys..

Okies i am just 2 days old to this game.. I play on sparta. I met a wonderful soul in this game who taught me the basics.. He said I should be pure STR glaiver.. he was guiding me about the attrib points in the build.

Now, since last 2 days he has not logged in. He told me to do following build.

pure STR .. lvl 13 .. almost at lvl 14 .. all points went to str

SP Build ... 5 in Hyuchal 5 in Force fire .. and 1 point in River Fire force.

Now he told me to farm 400 SP .. but he has been offline for 2 days.. I am almost lvl 14 now and i have farmed around 600 SPs now .. and I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA what to do next. . I red some guides .. understood NOTHING in it .. he also said that LATER ON i will need thunder .. but now with him not around, i am like totally stuck .. I log in.. and i keep waiting for him .. i go out, hunt a bit hopefully i die so that i dont lvl to next level .. and i do it all over again ..

Can someone PLEASE guide me where this guy left me ? He said I will be eventually a One hit killer glaiver pure strenth character. . guide me accordingly.

Thanks

Hey, I'm a pure STR glaiver on Greece and I'm around level 30 right now so I can help you out a bit. The guides here are pretty much perfect (especially the pinned ones) so it would help to really get to know them. I found this one particularly helpful: http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=26105

Ok, so you're almost level 14, that's good. Keep on leveling up until you reach level 16. Put your masteries (Heuksal and Fire) up to level 7 and follow the guide I posted as to which skills you should add (at this point, you might not be able to add any). Make sure you get a lot of potions (more MP than HP), get a good lvl 16 weapon, then head out to the Bandit Stronghold (It's the other big place on the map in the SouthWest). Be careful of the Bandits, you want to get onto the big structure in the middle of the Stronghold and hunt Bandit Archers. With a 9 level gap, you should get 1 skill point for every 2 or 3 kills. Farm on them for a while. I farmed about 2k SP, but the hardcore farmers will get up to 50k or 60k. I'm spreading out my farming and doing it again at level 32. So farm a lot at the bandit archers and then put all your SP into Fire and Heuksal (eventually you will need lightning to get your speed). You can decide what skills you want and how you want to level. But the basic rule of thumb is that you should ALWAYS put your character points into STR. So I say, farm as much as you want when you want. Always get Fire and Heuksal, eventually lightning, but don't get Force or Ice. It's not needed for a Pure str glaive (imo). It's your character and it should be the way you want it. These are just the most common ways that people make them. Have fun with it :).

heh thanks a loads dude =)

Heh thanks for reply.. can you please explain me each and every weapon attribute? there are a few posts here and there .. none is very clarifying.

also, i found a normal glaive which has high magical attribute. Does that mean that it will hit more when i hit mobs with river of fire spell active on it? ... its all so kinda confusing.
