Elixer Failure.

what exactly happens if i try to enhance an item with an elixer and it fails?
i have a SOM footgear 3rd degree +1str lucky 5times\time durability and parry ratio.
and i wanna make it +1.
so if it fails... i lose my footgear or wat??

well ist lucky 5,so you can make it + 5 if you wish
(i think) +3 for shure

it cant go to +0 of destroy it self but whit lucky 5 + 3 is no problem
long time ago i had a lvl 24 spear lucky 3,if im not wrong,and i made +5

no ur not understanding. the footgear has no pluses at all.
so if i fail that means it destroys it?

Wrong. Lucky will increase the chance of success but it will not gurantee it, it's like lucky powder.
Equipment won't break until +4 so if you fail, it'll still be SOM and it won't break.

The ONLY time you can lose an item from enchanting with an elixir is when your trying to go from +4 to +5, or higher. There isnt a need to go that high on such a low lvl item. Go for +3 and leave it at that.
